AC Milan has announced its expansion plan for the San Siro stadium capacity to 80,000 by 2027.

The Italian giants have been working on expanding their stadium capacity for some time now and they have finally reached an agreement with the local authorities.

The expansion will involve building new stands and upgrading existing ones in order to accommodate more fans.

According to AC Milan's president, Silvio Berlusconi, the aim is to make the stadium one of the largest in Europe and to create a more welcoming atmosphere for fans.

"We want to create a more modern and comfortable environment for our supporters," he said. "We believe that the expansion will help us achieve this goal."

The expansion is expected to be completed in three phases, with each phase costing around €50 million.

Once complete, the stadium will have a capacity of up to 80,000 seats, which is a significant increase from the current capacity of 64,000.

This will allow AC Milan to host more matches and attract more fans to the stadium.

In addition to the expansion, AC Milan has also made plans to improve the facilities within the stadium itself, including new changing rooms, showers and toilets.

"We want to provide our fans with the best possible experience at the stadium," said Berlusconi. "We believe that this investment will make the San Siro even better than it already is."

The expansion of the stadium is just one part of AC Milan's ongoing efforts to improve the club. The team has recently signed several high-profile players, including Brazilian forward Carlos Bacca, and has also invested heavily in youth development.

Overall, the expansion of the San Siro stadium is an important step towards making AC Milan one of the leading football clubs in Europe.
